In 2017, the University received six of the modern polygraph and trained professionals.
The national guard of Ukraine has received a legal basis for the use of lie detectors (polygraphs).
This was reported on the website of the national guard.
“Pursuant to the requirements of the Concept of development of the National guard of Ukraine until 2020, in particular the introduction of modern instrumentation in a system of professional psychological selection of candidates for military service, appointment to leadership positions, conducting internal investigations and audits, from November 3, 2017 officially entered into force normative legal act, which was external approval and state registration of discussion among trade unions”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that through collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, this year the National guard received six of the modern polygraph and conducted the training of specialists who will soon begin to use them in practice.
It is noted that the polygraph is used “for the purpose of obtaining possible and indicative information, which is another way to impossible to determine the extent of its truthfulness and completeness, additional information that can be used in the service and combat activity.”
In the regional offices, the National Academy NSU continues to work on the arrangement of working places of specialists of polygraphs in accordance with statutory requirements.
