The national guard officially had their own chaplains

The first meeting of the military chaplains will be held until 8 July.

In the National guard of Ukraine officially introduced the chaplaincy Institute.

“Today 38 military priests signed an employment contract and are employees of NMU”, – said the press service of the Ministry of internal Affairs released on Monday evening, July 4.

The first meeting of military chaplains, which began on Monday in Zolochev of Lviv region, will be held until 8 July.

The priests will take part in theoretical and practical training on the basics of tactical medicine. They also got acquainted with the principles of interactions with military psychologists during the execution of soldiers NSU combat missions in extreme conditions.

To become a chaplain requires knowledge of the Ukrainian language, several years of service in the congregation and the recommendation from the spiritual elders, said the interior Ministry.
