Crane Currency nearly 140 years, supplying banknote paper for making currency of the United States of America.
The national Bank and the company Crane Currency signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of manufacturing of banknotes.
“Our mint has a full cycle of manufacturing from design to production of secured papers and printing of banknotes. In cooperation with Crane Currency we are ready to offer all its experience and production capacity for the manufacture of banknotes on behalf of other countries”, – said Chairman of the NBU Jacob Smoliy.
According to him, the national Bank is proud to be such a powerful, global manufacturer of banknote paper, banknotes and security technologies of money as a company to Crane Currency, is interested in cooperation with him.
The President of the company to Crane Currency Annemarie Watson, in turn, noted that during last year’s visit were amazed at the modern technology base and technological capabilities and professional qualities of the workers of the banknote printing and minting works. “So I hope that this agreement will be the basis for expansion joint long-term projects,” she said.
The document seeks to resolve the business relationship between the National Bank and the company Crane Currency, which gives the possibility of placing foreign orders on production capacity of Ukrainian banknote printing and minting works.
The main priority for banknote mint is manufacturing of the national currency, banknote paper for her and domestic securities.
