Rozhkova encourages radicals to give Russian banks to quietly withdraw from Ukraine.
The national Bank opposed the block offices of banks with Russian capital. According to the Deputy head of the NBU Catherine Rozhkova Russian banks should be given the opportunity to quietly withdraw from Ukraine.
She said this at a briefing on Thursday.
“As a state of law, building democracy, we must ensure the possibility of a civilized way of Ukrainian banks with Russian state capital from the Ukrainian market,” – said Rozhkov.
She noted that the five banks owned by the Russian government keep their money for about 1.7 million of the Ukrainians who, in connection with the blocking of the branches or damage of ATMs can’t use their own means.
“Vandalism against banking institutions discrediting in the eyes of customers confidence in the banking system, threaten financial stability and negatively affect the image of Ukraine in the international arena,” – said Rozhkov.
