At the Paris auction house sold a unique image of the Mona Lisa with a mustache and beard
Painting by French artist Marcel Duchamp which shows Mona Lisa with a mustache and beard sold at auction in Paris for 632 500 euros.
This painting was part of the sale of the collection of surrealist works, which yielded 3.9 million for 110 projects.
The work of Duchamp’s is a modified picture of 1964, which was originally established in 1919 on the basis of postcards depicting the famous work of Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
Interestingly, the estimated price of the paintings ranged from 400 to 600 thousand euros.
