Up to nine million Ukrainians annually go abroad for seasonal work.
This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva during the opening speech at the opening of the project of the International labour organization “Inclusive labour markets for job creation in Ukraine”
“Today, labour migration is predominantly seasonal in nature. In this process, according to our estimates, this involves up to 9 million Ukrainian citizens annually,” said Reva.
He also added that according to the State migration service of Ukraine, permanently working abroad more than 3 million 200 thousand Ukrainian citizens.
