According to the head of the Ministry of justice, the changes provide different forms of motivation, improvement of working conditions, higher wages and greater control over the actions of officers of institutions
“I think we together with law enforcement agencies to establish order in this sphere”, – said Petrenko on air “the 5th channel” on Tuesday evening, August 29.
In addition, the Minister stressed that the stay in jail or prison should not be accompanied by torture and abuse of detainees and prisoners.
The reform also envisages a set of measures for the rehabilitation of convicted persons.
“It will be a number of decisions on work centers probation. Now open 12 such centers across the country”, – said the head of the Ministry of justice.
Psychologists will work primarily with prisoners who have committed a crime vpervye, with minors, with women, with not very dangerous individuals.

Petrenko also expressed confidence that all those guilty in beatings in the Odessa prison, must be prosecuted. According to the Minister, most of these individuals and leaders are now removed from office, conducted an internal investigation.
