The demand for some products long-term storage in some regions continues to rise, but shortages of goods there, TASS was told in the press service of the Ministry of industry and trade.
“In some regions recorded continued increase in demand for certain groups of goods”, – noted in the Ministry. We are talking primarily about products long-term storage of: cereals (buckwheat, rice, oatmeal, millet), flour and pasta meat, meat delicacies and fish, meat and canned fish, dairy products, condensed milk, salt, sugar and tea.
“The situation in the consumer market we are now monitoring almost every minute regime shortages of goods are not observed, but there is a lack of time – sometimes it’s just not enough to give a lift, to unload and upload goods. In addition, according to information from the trade organizations and regional authorities, price spikes are observed,” said the Ministry of industry and trade.

“Periodically, we receive information about attempts of suppliers to try to increase selling prices for certain types of imported products, but not in high demand, and in connection with the increase in the exchange rate,” – said in the Ministry.
