The Minister spoke about the cost of low-cost flights to Europe

Omeljan noted that the Ukrainian market can come from several budget airlines.

The Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian believes that the price of the low-cost airline tickets to Europe will average €30-50.

“If the average bus ticket costs €50-100 if the railroad it will be plus minus the same price, the corresponding price of €30-50 for lowcost in Europe would have been completely adequate,” – said the Minister.

According to him, it would be a step toward a model of competition between different modes of transport.

The Minister also noted that the Ukrainian market can come from several budget airlines.

“We hope that it will not be a low-cost, and there will be more. But it will depend on negotiations with the state airports and other airports that will conduct such negotiations. The stakes are high,” said Omeljan.
