The Ukrainian government proposes to increase the minimum wage to 3764 UAH after the adoption of the bill on pension reform. Note that today the minimum wage in Ukraine is 3200 UAH.
About it in the Verkhovna Rada during the hour of questions to the government, said Minister of social policy Andrei Reva.
“We propose to remedy the situation – to do the updating according to a single salary principle, that is to stop playing with odds and return to a single principle – the increase of wages,” – said the Minister.
“This enables working people to live better and to obtain extra funds without any artificial factors for the increase of pensions, and the first step after we vote for reform is the increase of the basic wage up to 3764 UAH this year,” said Reva.
