The amount of the pension could grow more than expected.
From 1 October 2017, the minimum pension in Ukraine can grow up to 1452 UAH, but not before 1373 UAH, as previously planned. However, this will be possible in the case of approval by Parliament of the pension reform.
This broadcast radio ЭраFM said the Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko, reports the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
“At today’s meeting with MPs, with the leaders of the factions to discuss pension reform, made another important decision that we are ready, and we have the resources to 1 October, the minimum pension is not increased to 1373 UAH, as previously planned, and the minimum pension rose to 1452 UAH”, – he said.
It is noted that the increase in the minimum pension will be possible in the case of adoption of the relevant decision on pension reforme the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“That is, the minimum pension could grow from 60 UAH, 140,” – said Rozenko.
According to him, 8 million pensioners, the pension which depends on the minimum will get a more substantial increase.
