The Ministry reported that Ukraine is home to more than 1.5 million refugees.
At the moment most of all in Ukraine registered refugees from Afghanistan – 1579. This is stated in the reply of the state migration service of Ukraine at the request of journalists.
Thus, registered refugees from Afghanistan to Ukraine 1360 people, and people who need extra protection – 110 people, and people looking for protection in Ukraine – 109.
On the second place by quantity of refugees and seekers of protection – Syria, there have been 442 human.
It is also reported that during the 2017 state migratory service of Ukraine with the application for recognition as a refugee or person who needs complementary protection, asked 601 people.
We will remind, earlier the representative of management on Affairs of foreigners Jakub Dujana said that in 2014 the refugee status in Poland asked for 5 thousand citizens of Ukraine, including 590 people in 2016 and 140 in 2017. He also noted that these data do not cover those Ukrainians who have a visa to enter Poland. And these visas only last year issued more than 1.2 million this year alone to the end of may issued 600 thousand of such visas.
