The mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov apologized for the incident with the participation of Deputy head of the Department of administrative services of the Odessa city Council Diane Ternovenko, which was stopped by patrol police for drunk driving. About Trukhanov wrote on his page in Facebook on Monday evening, December 25.
“First and foremost, on behalf of the Odessa city hall apologize to the patrol police officers whom she had insulted. Such behavior, as well as all that was recorded on video is not valid for the worker of local self-government,” wrote Trukhanov.
He promised soon to take appropriate personnel decisions.
We will remind, in the evening of 23 December, the Odessa patrol stopped a Nissan Micra, at the wheel which was drunk, Ternovenko. In drawing up the Protocol the official has behaved inappropriately, insulted the patrol and hit a journalist, who filmed the event on camera.
