Ukrainians believe that the mayor of Chernihiv has no moral right to dictate how many children to have.
The mayor of Chernihiv Vladislav Atroshenko on your page in Facebook wrote about the difficult demographic situation in Ukraine. Thus the mayor made offensive remarks about those Ukrainians that have less than three children, which caused the indignation of the audience.
Atroshenko, in particular, wrote that Ukrainians are at best left 42-43 “What population we have in the city of Chernihiv? 290 thousand officially, but I have serious doubts about this,” he writes.
While Atroshenko wants to find a solution to the demographic crisis through religious institutions and religious leaders, teachers, doctors and all the people who have authority for society. The mayor believes that every family should have at least 3 children. Atroshenko sure that the girl and guy should know “if they don’t have 3 children, mean they are sick, some are not, they are not Ukrainians.”
The last words caused a storm of emotions the audience of the social network. Atroshenko was accused of rudeness and asked how to feed three children with meager wages and lack of social guarantees from the state.
