Right defender of Shakhtar and Ukraine national team Bogdan Butko will miss the final qualifying matches for the 2018 FIFA world Cup.
The football Federation of Ukraine officially announced that Butko in connection with trauma to the back of the thigh was out of action for at least 10 days. Thus, the 26-year-old defender of “Shakhtar” will not help the national team in matches with Kosovo and Croatia.
Butko got injured in the second half of the match of the 11th round of Ukrainian Premier League against FC Karpaty Lviv (2:0). On 86 minutes, a flank defender was replaced by another collection of Victor Kovalenko.
In the same match was injured and another key player of Ukraine national team – Central defender Yaroslav Rakitskiy has also damaged the hamstring. While it is not known whether Rakitskiy to play with Kosovo and Croatia.
