Oh, my God. In the end, the Director and screenwriter Paul Anderson fell in love with Milla Jovovich, and that got all the buns. I suspect that, depending on your personal relationship to the Floor, Mille, and Michelle, you heard about all of this, hate someone of the trio… any more love.
But about all under the order. So, the Duo Anderson-Jovovich FINISHED his work on the franchise. What is the result? Six film and total box office receipts of 1.23 billion dollars. However, not all the films were really good. But at least the first can be considered now almost a classic.
Already announced the restart of the franchise, and it seems like now on Board as producer of the great and terrible James WAN. But that will be another story, and the story of Alice, the heroine of the films of Anderson and Co., which just played the Last over.
A character named Alice Marcus was not in the games (at least on the first cast), he was introduced by Anderson in the screenplay in 2002. Moreover, as said the other day myself Jovovich, the first version of the script was rewritten so that the main role in the film was played by actress Michelle Rodriguez. Long or short, and it ended up that Jovovich and Anderson began an affair…
Don’t know about you, but I just remember that before Milla had an affair with Luc Besson, who shot her in the lead roles in his films. I do not want to insulting for an actress to conclusions… no, what is really there, the conclusions are, if not asking, it is possible and probable. And someone somewhere will be now again to whisper, and will sound the phrase about the “through the bed” and so on and so forth. Well, Milla for language nobody pulled.
I almost quit the film. I was somewhere else, and Paul has hired Michelle Rodriguez to play rain. And she just starred in the film, “girl fight” [Girlfight, 2000 – drama about women’s Boxing, shot Karyn Kusama, the film – winner of film festivals in Cannes and Sundance – approx. Zone Horror], and there were rumors about the award “Oscar”. It was a very hot girl at that moment, and my popularity is as decreased by the time. So Paul rewrote the script under it. It turned out that my character was “the girl”, and rain has become a sort of “guy”. She got all of my big action scenes, she became like Alice, and then Alice was just a minor character (…)
I didn’t get the new version of the script until, until I needed to fly from Canada to Germany, where I was working. I finished reading the script on the Board, and by the time we landed in Berlin, I was all pale. I got to the hotel and said, “We have a very serious talk, or I leave tomorrow morning.” And so, Paul came that night to me, and we sat there for three hours and looked through the script page by page. He asked: “What do you mean? It is not all that much has changed?”. And I said, “OKAY, why don’t we start with the first page?”. I did so every time I felt that I just take my best scenes. And so began our relationship with him.
It is clear that now it’s all history now. Jovovich and Anderson married, they have two children. But, you know, I’m not a fan of the most taken Anderson the sequels “resident evil”, and I too like acting Jovovich in these films. And now, after learning firsthand all that, I – I can’t help think about how strong was the grip of Milla, which, apparently, she made a career in Hollywood.
