Residents of the capital are outraged by the inaction of the authorities.
The building is falling apart brick by brick. Told about it in social networks. House No. 19/33 str shchekavitskaya in the Podolsk district of the capital is about to collapse. Citizens compare the dilapidated building with the leaning tower.
“Every day passing by. This house, like the Tower of Pisa, every day lower and lower,” – commented on the condition of the monument in the world.
“That’s the way the house looked even 7-10 years ago, and the fires were generally in excellent condition. Could not the house, which has stood since the late 19th century, crumble almost to the eyes alone,” complained the people of Kiev.
This house was built in the late nineteenth century and belonged to the family of a merchant of Vertiporoh.
Since 1994, the building is a heritage site and included in the “code of monuments of history and culture of Ukraine”.
