The latest novel by the Creator of “Jurassic Park” filmed

American writer, screenwriter and Director Michael Crichton died in 2008, but his works continue to live. Could you not read any of his books, but probably watched “Jurassic Park”, “Congo”, “the Andromeda Strain” or “the Western world”. Now the filmmakers aimed for his latest novel, Crichton – Micro (Micro). The book was published only in 2011, and I finished it already Richard Preston. Reviews online are mixed, many say that anything other than greed, this “opisatelnosti” not to explain. But the idea was “kristanovskaja”. And that it should form the basis for the film.

Three men found dead in a locked office on the second floor of the building, Honolulu. There is no sign of struggle except for ultrafine, like from a razor, cuts on their bodies. The only clue left behind – a tiny robot, nearly invisible to the human eye.
In the lush forests of Oahu opened trillions of microorganisms, tens of thousands of species of bacteria.
In Cambridge, Massachusetts, seven graduate students employed on the project for the study of microorganisms. The group is sent to a mysterious lab in Hawaii, where they are promised access that will open up new frontiers for scientific research. But scientists are going into a hostile wilderness filled with dangers. Armed only with knowledge about nature, they are easy prey technology with unbridled power.

The description is a bit vague and misses the main detail: the characters will be reduced and abandoned in the rainforest. The plot of this sounds awfully reminiscent of the good old Comedy “Honey, I shrunk the kids”. However, “Micro” is positioned as a techno-Thriller and promises to be much darker.

The film adaptation became interested in the company Amblin Entertainment. Director’s chair predicting Joaquim Ronning, preparing this year to present the new “Pirates of the Caribbean”. The script will be written by Darren Lemke (“Horror”), and the production will be engaged in Frank Marshall (“Jurassic World”). If everything goes right, the shooting will begin this fall.
