The largest banks of Ukraine got into the privatization list

Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Ukreximbank and Ukrgasbank will be privatized.

The Ministry of economic development and trade unveiled a list of state enterprises, organizations and institutions that in the future, or will remain in state ownership, or will be handed over in concession, or privatized, or liquidated.

It is provided by the so-called triage, which the government approved on 4 July.

According to published documents, 893 3444 state-owned enterprises subject to privatization in 2017-2020 or may be privatized in this period after changes in legislative acts and in the acts of transfer of municipal property.

The largest in terms of assets and subject of privatization is State food and grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU), Oschadbank, PrivatBank, State export-import Bank of Ukraine (Ukreximbank), “Tsentrenergo”, “Agrarian Fund”, Ukrgasbank and “Turboatom”.

As noted by the Ministry, the size of the assets, net profit and other financial indicators was not a criterion for the distribution of these objects. This indicates that the list and the group assignment will be updated.

In addition, 359 companies from a specified list is supposed to transfer to concession. These include the international airports “Borispol” and “Lviv” them. Daniel Galitsky, forestry and other enterprises under the control of the State forest resources Agency, the regional service of highways.

In the list of enterprises, which is expected to remain in state ownership, – 378 companies, including NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, “uz”, “Energoatom”, “energy”, Chernobyl NPP, “Ukrhydroenergo”.

Still 1255 enterprises will be eliminated, 364 located on the territory of the ATO, 195 – in the Crimea.
