The Kremlin suddenly reacted to the participation of Sobchak in the presidential election

According to Peskov, Sobchak fully complies with the requirements of the Constitution of the Russian Federation to the candidate.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the participation of TV presenter Xenia Sobchak in the presidential elections.

“I think that if she has any views on politics, she will have to gain experience. Policy differs from journalism and show business, it’s an entirely different substance. The policy involves expression of the will of the people. If She is able to respond to this expression of the will of the people will have a chance in politics,” he said.

Peskov also said that Sobchak is adapted to the relevant provisions of the Constitution and called her “a talented man”.

Recall, October 18, Sobchak declared participation in elections of the President of Russia in 2018.
