The Kremlin responded to Erdogan’s statement about Russia’s relations with Assad

Peskov expressed the General opinion.

The statement of the Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan that is not a lawyer of his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad does not mean a shift in Moscow’s position on Damascus.

This was stated by the speaker of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov.
