The Kremlin reacted sharply on the possible introduction of Ukraine of the visa regime

Sergei Lavrov is outraged by the statements from Kiev to introduce visas for Russians

The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow is ready to mirror to answer, if Ukraine will introduce a visa regime for Russian citizens.

According to Interfax, he declared June 6, during a speech at the Baltic Federal University named Kant.

“We have no black lists are not against the Ukrainians, but if there is a visa regime, we will respond the visa regime,” – said Lavrov.

The head of the Russian foreign Ministry expressed concern over the decision of Kiev to ban the entry of Russian artists and to impose sanctions against Russian companies. “Well, how do you think we should just swallow all of this and not reciprocate?”, he added.

We will remind that earlier the Minister of justice of Ukraine Pavel Petrenko said that the legal mechanisms for the introduction of a visa regime with Russia is already ready, it is time for political will.

In turn, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine assured that it is ready to introduce visa regime with Russia in case of adoption of a political decision.

The introduction of a visa regime with Russia has already been supported by the NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak and speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy.
