Japanese company Asahi Kasei specializes in chemical products, has unveiled a prototype triple electric vehicle called AKXY.
The public debut of the car will take place at the exhibition in Yokohama, which opens may 24, and in Nagoya (in late June).
A concept car developed by Asahi Kasei in collaboration with another Japanese firm GLM, which last year announced the launch of a series of sports car, the Roadyacht GTS, developed in the Netherlands.
The car was created to demonstrate, first of all, Asahi Kasei developments in the automotive industry, which the company plans to supply automakers. For example, we are talking about eco-friendly trim materials and special plastic body panels.
Overall length of the crossover AKXY is 4685 mm, width — 1813 millimeters and a height of 1562 mm. The driver’s seat is not placed in the middle, and on the right side, two passenger seats behind it. The car also received a door type “gull wing”.
