The interior Ministry of Russia artificially understated the number of crimes

The regional Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs was instructed not to publish negative news.

Because of suppressing negative news on days 2018 the number of messages of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation about crimes in the last month decreased in tens times.

Earlier media reported that the regional Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs was instructed not to publish negative news during the world Cup from June 15 to July 15.

The publication of “7×7” monitored feeds MIA in 19 regions in two months: a month before the championship (from 15 may to 14 June) and during the month the vote (from 15 June to 15 July). The amount of negative news about thefts, robberies, robberies, frauds, including Internet fraud, theft, murder, drug crimes declined significantly.

So, in the Novgorod region a month before the world Cup were 105 reported crimes, and in the days of the championship is zero. The same situation in the Ryazan region (45/0), Yaroslavl (79/0), Orenburg (74/0), Kostroma (36/0), Murmansk (115/0), etc.
