The interior Ministry intends to toughen the punishment for drivers-infringers

The representative of the Ministry believes that after a terrible accident in Kharkov it is necessary to urgently revise the system of penalties and deprivation of rights.

The head of the Main service centre of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine Vladislav Crickley urged to immediately implement a photo – and video fixation of violations of traffic Rules and change the system of deprivation of the rights of drivers-violators. About this he wrote on his page in Facebook.

“Terrible accident with a large number of victims in Kharkiv, where the guilty are called Alyona Zaitseva. Only 1.5 years of her “driving career”, it was composed of 6 regulations for violation of traffic Rules. We must not only urgently to enter an automatic photo-video fixing of violations of traffic rules, but also to change the scoring system, which would deprive these unfortunate drivers of the right of management,” said Crickley.

We will remind, the Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan commented on the accident in Kharkov. He expressed the belief that to prevent similar tragic incidents can the speed limit in settlements to 50 kilometers per hour and establishing draconian penalties for traffic violations.
