In the days of the festival the waters of China’s courts are covered with a dragon’s head on the nose.

On the fifth day of the fifth month on the Chinese lunar calendar China celebrates Duan, also known as dragon boat Festival.

Events are held in memory of qu Yuan — the lyrical poet with a difficult life, lived before our era.

The most spectacular event during the celebration of Duan — race the rowers in the boat, the nose of which is decorated with a dragon’s head.
