Official publication of the National geographic society – National Geographic has published the best photos of the participants competition of the ongoing Nature Photographer of the Year 2017.
Participation in the competition is open to photographers from all over the world sending in their photos to National Geographic to 17 November 2017. Photos are accepted in four categories: wildlife, landscapes, aerial and underwater space.
Winning the top prize of the competition, in addition to professional fame and recognition, will bring the photographer $7 500.
In addition, a photo of the winner will be published in a future issue of the magazine National Geographic and placed on the page of the publication in Instagram.
One winner will be chosen also in each of the four specified categories. Each of them will receive $2 500.
Starting payment for participation in the contest is $ 15.
