The IMF has called a key condition for disbursement of a tranche to Ukraine

For Kiev, it is critical to pension reform.

The main condition for the allocation of Ukraine the next tranche of IMF program eff EFF is the adoption of pension reform, which includes the reduction of the deficit of the Pension Fund.

It is reported ЛИГА.net with reference to the Deputy head of the communications Department of the IMF William Murray.

“We urge the government and Parliament to ensure the conformity of the adopted law the reform that was worked out with the IMF and the world Bank,” said Murray.

The Fund is ready, if necessary, to cooperate with the government of Ukraine to assess this compliance, he added.

The improved draft law “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine on increasing of pensions” (no. 6614) proposes amendments to 30 acts. The law should come into force from 1 October 2017 – in part, and from 1 January 2018 in full.
