The holidays: how the Ukrainians will rest

Last year the Ukrainians had a rest more.

Calendar new year and Christmas holidays in Ukraine to 2018 and in total the January 10 weekend.

On Christmas and new year holidays Ukrainians waiting for a pair of triple weekend. But in General we will have a rest of a day less than the winter holidays last year.

Weekend at New 2018 in Ukraine will last three days – from December 30 (Saturday) at 1 January (Monday) inclusive. December 31, 2017 falls on a Sunday.

January 7 (Christmas) 2018 also falls on a Sunday, so Monday, January 8, will be a non-working day. Thus, the output will again be three days in a row: 6, 7 and 8 January.

Overall, in January there will be 10 weekend days including regular weekends and holidays. Pre-holiday working days shortened by an hour, is not provided.

Meanwhile, in Russia new year’s weekend last four days. They will begin on Saturday, December 30, to go to work will only need 9 Jan 2018. Friday 29 January will be a shortened working day. Thus, in total the Russians in January will rest almost two weeks – 14 days.

We will remind, in January 2017, the population of Ukraine in General had a rest 11 days (including weekends).
