Director George Lucas was able to persuade the film company 20th Century Fox on this project and filmed it for just $11 million — with all the special effects, which at the time was truly impressive. The film became a box office hit (fees worldwide have exceeded $500 million), received six Oscars and made stars of lead actors — Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
Over time the first part became episode IV is called “a New hope” and was the first film of the cult franchise about a galaxy far far away and the family Skywalker. Lucas released five episodes — two of a trilogy, classic and new; at the same time he updated the special effects in old movies and re-releasing them in theaters. With the recently released “the Awakening force” and “Outlaw-single” franchise earned $7.8 billion — that’s not counting the fact that brought the sale of various products on “Star wars”.
