The head of “Naftogaz” supported the monetization of subsidies

If a person is saved, the money should stay with him, said KOBOLEV.

Subsidies for payment for housing and utility services, including gas consumption, you need to monetize.

This opinion was expressed by the head of NAK “Naftogaz Ukraine” Andriy KOBOLEV.

“On the liberal market should act in a liberal monetized subsidies. If a person is saved, the money should stay with him. Once this is done, we’ll see a huge gas savings. If you give people the right incentives, it will be correct to work,” he said.

According to KOBOLEV, after monetization, the need for subsidies will decline.

“Give people the opportunity to get the money saved, and they will save and think how to consume gas more efficiently. Moreover, in this case, this market segment will be of interest to private suppliers. The economic effect will be huge, we estimated about 120 billion UAH”, – said the head of “Naftogaz”.

He noted that for the sake of 120 billion UAH for the warring countries “need to go to do it.”
