The grandson of Leonid Brezhnev demands compensation for using the photo Secretary-General in advertising.
The grandson of the Secretary General of the CPSU Central Committee Leonid Brezhnev Andrey Brezhnev appealed to the court in Novosibirsk with the request to collect from a commercial organization amount of unjust enrichment and to compensate moral harm for the use in advertising of images of his grandfather. This was reported on Friday the press-service of October district court of Novosibirsk.
“Received a civil case transferred to the jurisdiction of the Railway district court of Novosibirsk, on the claim of Brezhnev, Andrei Yurievich (the grandson of Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev) to “Half Presents” for the recovery of unjust enrichment and compensation for moral damage on the fact of use of the image Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev for advertising purposes”, – is spoken in the message. Preliminary hearing on business is appointed to November 13. The amount of the claim is not called.
