MP from the Opposition bloc Yuriy Boyko is not involved in the production of so-called “towers Boyko”. This is stated in a memo the chief of Department of special investigations of the GPU Sergey Gorbatyuk in response to the appeal of the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko, the press service of the Ministry on Tuesday, may 16.
According to the document, the investigation found no evidence of signing on behalf of Boyko documents on the procurement of liquefied natural gas.
“And interrogated during the pretrial investigation, the witness on his direct involvement in the criminal scheme procurement platforms at inflated prices not reported. Thus direct evidence of such participation, no project reports of suspicion was not made”, – the document says.
Earlier, the MP Serhiy Leshchenko said that the GPU in July 2015 had a presentation Boyko for assistance in implementing “schemes Kurchenko”, when he worked in the government. “But then Shokin blocked document in the bowels of the Prosecutor’s office and kept under wraps until the last day of tenure,” – said Leshchenko.
Commenting on the report of Gorbatyuk, Leshchenko said that it applied to other crimes.
“This document is not concerned with drilling rigs. It applies to liquefied natural gas, fraud Kurchenko, with the assistance of Boyko…prosecutors trying to translate this production into the topic with the rigs in order to instill in society a definite opinion about those disclosures that are made by anti-corruption activists,” – said the MP.
