The former MP said some unknown details.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has different plans for the occupied part of Donbas and annexed Crimea.
This was stated by former state Duma Deputy Ilya Ponomarev.
According to him, Putin will soon abandon the Donbass. At the same time in Crimea, he will hold to the last.
“Putin the Donbass will pass. And Crimea – no. Putin will do all he can to keep the Crimea. He will hold on to the Peninsula until the last” – said Ponomarev.
He added that the return of Crimea to Ukraine will only be able new Russian government.
Ponomarev also believes that the strategy of Ukraine in the annexed Peninsula, during which appeals only to the law “Crimea is ours, give it back”, is not correct.
“It’s not a suitcase which you can take and pass. This is a large area where many people live. And Russia complicates this process by the fact that artificially occupies the Peninsula new people. And it’s real people,” – said Ponomarev.
