The foreign Ministry of Ukraine responded to the cancellation of the visit of the President of Romania

Kiev is disappointed by the cancellation of the visit Iohannis.

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine declare that the visit of President of Romania Klaus Iohannis in Ukraine is not canceled and postponed.

“The visit is not canceled and postponed. This is an exclusive decision of the Romanian side,” the Ministry said.

The foreign Ministry disappointed “by the reluctance of the Romanian parties to the dialogue between the leaders” and noted that he is interested in continuing the dialogue.

We will remind, on 21 September, the Romanian President declared the cancellation of the official visit to Ukraine for Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on education, which, according to Iohannis, restricted the rights of national minorities.
