Besides clowns, murderers, “It” shows the grief and anger experienced by children, knowing that those who should protect them, do the opposite. These themes in the works of king, filmmakers are often ignored. But the authors of the best adaptations understand that it is one of the vital parts of the film.
Erik Davis, author of Fandango, called the picture “creepy, bloody, very funny, charmingly romantic”. In addition, it is one of the best films of 2017 in his personal top now.

A big surprise for the reviewer was acting in Finn Wolfhard. Like, fourteen-year-old actor is not doing his job. Well, the kid in the “Very strange things” immediately drew attention to themselves.
