The first image of the new Skoda Fabia without camouflage

Skoda Fabia is more economical and more dynamic.

At the upcoming Geneva motor show 2017 will be presented with a new Skoda Fabia petrol engine.

New engine for Skoda Fabia is 1.0 liter. It will be available in two versions. One will deliver a 95 horsepower and 160 nm of torque. The second power is 110 HP and a torque of 200 N·m. the Novelty will replace the previous 1,2-litrovuyu petrol unit.

It is expected that with the new motor model will be dynamic, and its fuel appetite will be moderate. So, the Fabia hatchback with a 95-horsepower engine and 5-speed “mechanics” will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds. This is 0.3 seconds faster than the same version with the same 1.2-liter engine. The maximum speed will also increase and will amount to 185 km/h (3 mph).

The model in the station wagon will also be faster – the top speed will increase to 187 km/h and acceleration to hundreds will take 10.8 seconds (0.2 seconds faster). Fuel consumption reduced to 4.3 liters per 100 km in the combined cycle (-0,3 l / 100 km).

The hatchback into a more powerful version, equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, acceleration to hundred will be 9.5 seconds (9,6 sec. the station wagon) and a maximum speed of 196 km/h (199 km/h of the station wagon). At 100 km in the combined cycle Skoda Fabia will consume 4.4 liters of gasoline (-0,3 l / 100 km).
