The Ministry of Finance argue that the minimum wage be regularly adjusted for inflation and other factors, but a sharp increase is not.
This told Finance Minister Oleksandr danylyuk.
“It (minimum wage – ed.) is regularly adjusted for inflation and other factors. But the sharp rise will not be”, – said danyluk.
The Minister noted that the increase of the minimal salary up to 7500 UAH would lead to the fact that a large part of the business faded.
“Therefore, it is necessary to distinguish populism from reality. And a responsible approach to such decisions”, – said danyluk.
