In “Kyivenergo” said that many social institutions were the capital can’t put the heating due to gas prices.
Full the beginning of the heating season in Kyiv prevents the unresolved price of gas. It says the company “Kyivenergo” on its website.
“Because of the unresolved gas prices beginning of the heating season in many social institutions of Kiev postponed. The date of the beginning of the heating season in many Metropolitan social institutions remains uncertain,” said the company, which according to a recent decision of the Kiev deputies, delivers warmth to Kiev last season, and then will be deprived of this right.
It is emphasized that “Naftogaz of Ukraine” sells PJSC “Kyivenergo” natural gas for budget organizations for the price of 7.9 thousand UAH per 1 thousand m3, and the tariff for thermal energy production laid down its cost as 4,94 thousand UAH per 1 thousand m3.
“Thus daily actual damages “Kyivenergo” from supplying heat only to the social facilities of the capital will amount to UAH 1.2 million and will increase proportionally to the decrease of ambient temperature. By the end of this year, losses could reach UAH 541 million. The source of repayment is not provided, neither in the city nor in the state budget. This situation makes unpredictable the quality and uninterrupted heat supply to budget organizations in the new heating season”, – declare in “Kyivenergo”.
It is noted that to resolve the problem of the imbalance tariff and the actual cost of gas the utility has repeatedly appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers, the national Commission and relevant ministries. Urged to settle the imbalance in the cost of gas and the KSCA.
“Today, however, the decision regarding the source of compensation of difference in tariffs for gas there. The draft amendments to the existing CMU from 22.03.2017 No. 187 “On introducing amendments to the regulation on imposing special obligations on the subjects of natural gas market to ensure public interests in the process of natural gas market functioning” has already been agreed to by all relevant agencies, except the Ministry of economy. After the final approval of the Ministry of energy should submit the draft for consideration at the meeting of the Cabinet. The document envisages a reduction factor of 1.6, according to which producers of heat are buying gas for all categories of consumers to the level of 1.2″, – stated in the message of the company.
In June, the city Council adopted a decision on termination of the contract with “Kyivenergo” for management of thermal networks of the city, concluded 16 years ago. The current contract is valid until 31 December 2017, however, will be extended until April 2018 with the aim of passing the heating season.
