The explosion of the car in the river injured two women – a 27-year-old driver of the Opel Astra and 70-the summer woman who passed the car.

This reports the press service of the police of the Dnepropetrovsk region.

The elderly woman was taken to the hospital. After emergency treatment, she is being treated on an outpatient basis. The injured driver is still in the hospital.

At the scene works investigative team, explosives experts and representatives of other emergency response services.

According to preliminary data of law enforcers, the explosion of a car in the river was planned in advance.

“Preliminary information on the cause of the explosion – an improvised explosive device”, – reports the press service of the patrol.

Recall, the explosion of the car Opel Astra in the river occurred today, at about 10:00 a.m., on the Avenue of the Field, 117. Earlier, the police reported that in the result of emergency suffered by the woman-the driver of a foreign car.
