The expert told how to change the price of autogas

The specialist said that liquefied natural gas will fall in price closer to October.

The price of liquefied petroleum gas in September will not fall after the August increase.

This was stated by the expert in the field of energy Sergey Kuiun.

According to Kuyun, after rising prices of the petrol in the foreign market in August declines in September on the Ukrainian market will not happen.

“The bad news is that over the last couple of weeks prices on the international market, where we buy 70% of its gas, has increased dramatically. In total since the beginning of August, they rose more than 20%. This means that the expected reduction will not be in September. September will still be an expensive month,” he said.

The specialist said that liquefied natural gas will fall in price closer to October, but it will be a seasonal phenomenon and not a consequence of changes in the market situation.

“I know that were trading on the Ukrainian gas at 24-25 thousand UAH per ton. I see that the gas is likely below 15 UAH will not fall. In October, ends the season of active consumption, and gas prices may fall,” said Kuyun.

According to research by the consulting group “A-95”, the largest supplier of liquefied natural gas to Ukraine is Belarus. On the supply of Belarus made up 47% of liquefied petroleum gas imported to Ukraine in August this year. The second is the supplier remains Russia, but in August imports from Russia decreased from 44% to 35%.
