American coal cost the country approximately the same as coal from South Africa (Republic of South Africa – ed.)
This opinion was expressed by the former Minister of fuel and energy of Ukraine Ivan Plachkov.
“I think we can go a maximum of about 5-7 million tons of coal, and the price will be approximately equal to the price of coal from South Africa with the transportation”, – he said.
Plachkov also said that thinking about the statement of the American leader Donald trump’s plans for exports to our country.
“I think this is a very good statement for Ukraine. This is another way of diversifying supplies of coal. If there is a big demand for anthracite coal, it will be another source “, – the expert believes.
