The expert said, as blockade of Donbass will affect the hryvnia exchange rate

Because of the blockade, the hryvnia exchange rate in exchange offices will not change.

Transport blockade of the occupied territories of Donbass will not impact seriously on the hryvnia, although the economy has felt some negative effects.

So says the head of analytical Department of Concorde Capital Oleksandr Parashchiy.

The analyst notes that the hryvnia ORDO longer use. And Ukraine actually already imports products from there and prints back the currency.

Para suggests that the blockade has cost the loss of export revenues of Ukraine will amount to $ 1.5 billion.

He adds that some believe that if Ukraine reduced exports, it’s a disaster. The hryvnia usually really weakened, increasing the shortage of currency. That is, in this case Ukraine prints more currency than a turn-on.
