The EU refused to recognize the elections in Sevastopol and the Crimea

The EU drew attention to the persecution in the occupied Peninsula of the Crimean Tatar people.

Also, the EU demands to stop prosecution of the Deputy head of the Mejlis Ilmi Umerov.

“Once again reaffirm our long-standing position that all illegally detained in the Crimean Peninsula and the Russian Federation citizens of Ukraine must be released immediately”, – summed up in the statement of the European Union.
