In Brussels urged to cancel the “e-declarations” for “fighters”.
In Brussels, demanding repeal of the controversial amendments to the law on e-customs Declaration, according to which anti-corruption activists and their contractors must submit declarations.
This was stated by European Commissioner for neighbourhood policy Johannes Hahn after talks with Deputy Prime Minister Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze.
As noted by journalists, the statement of the Commissioner does not sound like a request, but in the form of requirements.
“E-Declaration, aimed at combating corruption in public administration is not opposing the work of civil society. Changes in the law about the electronic Declaration is a step backwards, not a step forward, and should be revised,” said the Commissioner.
