The Director of “It” wants to film “pet Sematary”

I, like millions of other viewers, like the “It” Andres, Moschetti, but I’m not sure I want to see how he will re-shoot filming another horror novel by Stephen king. But he Andres really wants!

Moschetti, and his sister, producer Barbara was already talking about how they are big fans of “pet Cemetery”. However, one thing once more to speak, and another to actively pedal the subject. Apparently, Mosketti really want to do this project!

Here’s what the Director recently told Entertainment Weekly:

My love for “the Cemetery of Pets” is cool, as long as I live. I will always dream to make a film based on this book.

Sister Barbara adds:

Let’s see who the first will reach. But”pet Sematary”] was the first Stephen king book that we have read, and that’s what has become our great love – because, perhaps, it is the most personal book of king. You can imagine his young family… how far will you go for your family? How far would you be willing to go? I hope that we will be able to do it. But if we are going to do it, you have to do everything right, like we did with “It”. The version that we read in previous years, the scripts that we read, in our opinion, poorly conveyed the content of the book.

In 1989, Mary Lambert already filmed the novel and her “pet Sematary” remains one of the best (and worst!) adaptations of works by king. Rumors about a potential remake run for a long time and had some grounds, however, owns the rights to the Paramount company was not particularly interested in this project.

But now, after the phenomenal box office success of “It” in the new film adaptations of king’s interested in everything. So in the coming months, I think, should wait for the specifics about the new “KJ”.
