Bethesda decided to please its fans with new video game.
This week the Vice President of Bethesda Softworks Pete Hines became the hero of two interesting stories. He spoke in defense of the custom shop modifications, Creation Club, which aroused the indignation of many players. Quite recently in an interview for the portal Tek Syndicate Hines joked on the subject of porting The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on various platforms and accidentally let slip that Bethesda is preparing to make another announcement.
During the interview, Hines, responding to a reporter’s question, started to list the planned projects of the company, including Dishonored 2: Death of the Outsider, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, The Evil Within 2 and a mysterious project, which will be released before the end of 2017. The details of the upcoming games Vice-President of Bethesda to share declined. Later, the journalist changed the subject and asked Hines about the question, what other platforms will be ported to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The developer joked, saying that the company is considering the idea of porting to Skyrim on a toaster and microwave.
A little later, Hines made a joke about “unannounced game” in his Twitter account, referring to the story of Creation Club in a humorous way. Vice-President of Bethesda wrote that after “beating” that occurred in the Internet, he could have a concussion, and as a result, he was “talking nonsense” which should be ignored.
Despite this, fans of Bethesda Softworks has begun to build a theory about what kind of game Hines had in mind. Given the fact that until the end of 2017 remains very little time, it’s unlikely to be a completely new title. The most popular version is that the fresh announcement will be the VR-version of Dishonored or Skyrim for the new platform.
