The decree Poroshenko on the prohibition of Russian websites came into force

The decision of the Council enacted on may 17 after being published in the Uriadovyi courier.

In the official Gazette of the government newspaper “governmental courier” published the decree of the President Poroshenko, which he has put into effect the NSDC decision on new sanctions against Russia.

Recall that under the sanctions were Russian sites in Chile – the social network “Vkontakte” and “Classmates”, as well as team sites and Yandex Mail.ru.

“In today’s issue of the newspaper Uryadovy Kuryer published the presidential decree “On decision of national security Council and defense of Ukraine of April 28, 2017 “On the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)” №133/2017 of may 15, 2017, which is 17 may 2017 comes into force”, – is told in the publication edition.

We will remind, earlier the Chairman of the Board of the Internet Association of Ukraine Alexander Fedenko said that to complete blocking of Russian websites have for about two years and one billion dollars.
