The Czech Republic is not Zeman: the country began mass protests

Activists took to the streets after President’s statements on Crimea.

In the center of the Czech capital, Prague, there were activists who expressed their disagreement with the statement of the President of the country Milos Zeman regarding the recognition of the annexation of the Crimea.

In the hands of the protesters held placards with the slogan of the Czech Republic – it is not Zeman”, issued in the form of a hashtag #czechrepublicisnotzeman. Also, this flash mob is gaining momentum and in social networks.

Note that the first hashtag appeared immediately after the speech of the President of Czech Republic Milos Zeman at the PACE session, when he said that “the annexation of Crimea should be considered a fait accompli”.

Protesters completely filled the space in front of the Archbishop’s Palace, and their slogans were broadcast on the wall located next Salmovska Palace.
