The creation of the Moon men from “Gerald’s Game”

Legendary special effects wizard Robert Kurtzman has posted some photos from the shooting of “Game of Gerald”.

The Kurtzman here engaged in their favorite thing, namely, the transformation of man into monster. Of course, actor Karel Straken and without makeup looks impressive, good growth stars of “twin peaks” and “the Addams Family” is more than two meters, and the facial structure gigantism affected, but as the Moon man horror had yet to add.

If someone hasn’t watched the film adaptation and not read the original novel, recall the synopsis of this story:

After her husband is accidentally killed in the midst of an intimate game, a young woman is left alone, chained to the bed. But its loneliness was short-lived. All the fears that she had ever experienced in my life, going back to overnight in a secluded house, instantly turned into a sinister torture chamber…

Moon man is just one of the fears Jessie Burlingame performed by the lovely Carla, Gugino, the personification of her nightmares in flesh.

This is a wonderful inspirational strong story, not only about how to survive but how to survive all this. Adaptation of Director Mike Flanagan highly praised by critics, but in my opinion, a simple viewer of this tape worthy of attention is not paid. Well, I’m sure over time, “Gerald’s Game” will become a new classic.
